Manual Watches

Manual Watches have the first and oldest type of watch movement ever made fitted into any watch. Manual movements, also referred to as Hand-Wound movements, date back to the 16th century. These watches require daily winding of the watch Crown by the wearer for the watch to work. This action winds the MainSpring; this is a coiled strip of metal that is almost a foot in length. The MainSpring is tightly wound around a central shaft, the winding action builds up the tension it stores. As the spring unwinds, it releases energy to power the watch movement. Browse our collection of Manual Watches from our independent Swiss Made manufacturer: EPOS.  We have a wide variety of watch sizes, styles and colours to choose from.
